I love Politics, and it's not because I think it's a great thing. I just think it's the most human thing. And I love to scrutinize humans.
That said, what is the political situation of the West nowadays, and what do common people think of it (if they think at all)?
Well, what we have now is a situation of total indoctrinated ideological supremacy of the left, via cultural marxism, resulting in a kind of "virtue monopoly", where everything the left says is sacred and virtuous, and must not ever be questioned. It includes PC, victmism, censorship and all the totalitarian things we already got used to in our daily lives (even though we should never get used to those things).
Fear, shaming and even threats, the whole media, the school and academic system are some of the weapons the left uses to keep their control over the masses. The result is that almost nobody now feels comfortable or safe expressing rational critiques to the dominant dogmatic, emotional and totalitarian political narratives that, incredibly, are labeled as "liberal". There is no more free speech without fear. Free speech is now for the brave only!
So, under this totally irrational and childish approach, if you are a dissident, you're automatically evil. You don't support a silly leader like Trudeau or a harpy like Hillary? You can only be evil! After all, they are good people only looking to protect the "oppressed minorities"! Pure souls! You don't accept muslim barbarism? You can only be a "racist" (even though Islam is not a race - go figure!). You think white people, like all peoples, are also entitled to cherish their own culture? Racist! You want LESS control by the state on your personal life and choices? Fascist! Nazi! (when it is just the opposite - go figure again). It is the fascists and nazis who want the state in control! We know it is only possible because people are incredibly uneducated (even those who go to college) and, as long as they are dumb, you'll be considered "evil" for not being a marxist puppet like they are. Actually, it's kind of cool, if you don't value common people's opinions.
